It seems that the Roadmap to Peace was the Brainchild of Ariel
Sharone and was Proposed or rather introduced By The President in
concert with the Quartet. Since my arrival to Israel I’m finding to my
surprise a great amount of Israelis who want this process to go
forward. They are mostly Secular. The division of Jerusalem is a real
sticking point with only the Religious. Unless more step forward to
post their views to the contrary. It would seem that the opinion on
the street that I have encountered is “We Will see, what happens when
it happens.” BASICALLY most are just concerned with just getting
through the week, and surviving day to day. ” I’ll Deal with it when I
have somthing to deal with”
Reach out to friends and promt them to speak out here in this forum.
I have met some unique and talented Israelis here. the cities are
wonderful and safe. Sedrot is just like any other city, except when
the alarms sound. Some fell two days before I went and the day after.
I have only been in Ashdod,Ashkelon,Jerusalem, Drove to and through
the Golan,Meggido,Saw the Sea of Galaliee and road the “Boat”
I spoke with Joshua who works to install Kassam proof Bustops for
protection in the public places. He said it cost 18,000 U.S.
Dollars. “Life Shield” I believe its called. Joshua is a west bank settler.
